HL3-2A Mixed flow fan

The fan between the axial flow fan and the centrifugal fan. The impeller of the mixed flow fan makes the air move both centrifugal and axially. The movement of the air in the shell mixes the two forms of axial flow and centrifugal movement, so it is called “mixed flow” .
Mixed flow (diagonal flow) fans have a higher wind pressure coefficient than axial fans, and a larger flow coefficient than centrifugal fans. They are used in occasions where the wind pressure and flow are both “not big or small”. It fills the gap between axial fans and centrifugal fans. At the same time, it has the characteristics of simple and convenient installation.
Mixed-flow fans combine the characteristics of axial and centrifugal fans, and their appearance looks more like traditional axial-flow fans. The casing may have an open entrance, but more commonly, it has a right-angled shape so that the motor can be placed outside the pipe. The drain shell expands slowly to slow down the air or gas flow and convert kinetic energy into useful static pressure.
